San Juan Autumn #5 (Infrared). My visible light and infrared cameras don’t normally exhibit any sibling rivalry. That’s because their respective missions in life don’t really overlap all that much, so there’s usually not any appreciable opportunity for conflict between them. But there are occasional exceptions.
Such was the case for this scene. After I photographed this End-of-The-Road Barn with the visible light camera, its infrared comrade started clamoring for equal time, arguing (pretty convincingly, it turned out) that it could bring a much different mood to this setting. So I gave it a shot, and concluded that I never should have doubted it.
