This view of Cathedral Rock is one of the most popular and iconic sights in the Sedona area, and many thousands of folks have visited and photographed here. But only those fortunate few who possess infrared eyes would have been able to see it like this, and as far as I know that fortunate few includes only insects. So my infrared camera is performing a valuable public service by revealing it to the rest of us (including all humans). This was captured late on a sunny autumn afternoon when the shadows were long and the sunlight was crisp.
