Natural-Bridge-Alabama1.jpg
Natural Bridge, Alabama. Near the eponymous (and tiny) town of Natural Bridge, this natural formation is composed of sandstone and iron ore. It is North America’s longest natural bridge east of the Rockies, and is easily accessible via a short trail in a privately-owned park. Because of the tight space beneath it, I couldn’t capture the whole scene in a single photo, so I stacked two horizontal photos vertically and stitched them together with panorama software.
Tech info: Nikon D5500 camera with Nikon 10-24mm lens at 10mm, 1/30 sec. at f/16, ISO 800. Two vertically stacked images stitched with PT-GUI panorama software.
