Volcanic Winter near Sunset Crater (Infrared). Under a clear winter sky, and with patchy snow on the ground, this jagged lava flow north of Flagstaff could easily be mistaken for an alien world. And Mother Nature has created an eerie bonsai garden with the trees she grows under harsh conditions there. My infrared camera was quite moved - and very eager to show us what it looks like in invisible light.
