Fireworks, Cripple Creek, Colorado. July 4th (Independence Day) is of course, the biggest national holiday in the USA. This mountain town in Colorado, however, didn’t quite get their order for fireworks placed in time, so they had to defer their fireworks show until July 6, when the ammunition actually showed up. That was fine with us, since that’s the day we arrived there. And the weather was perfect for a grand pyrotechnic blowout!
