Juniper Skeleton with Balanced Rock, Utah (Infrared). The Balanced Rock monument is one of the most photographed formations in Arches National Park, but it’s not likely that you’ve seen it like this previously. My infrared camera brings out the stark form of the deceased tree and highlights the early fall snow on the distant La Sal Mountains, and the sunset light sculpts the rocks nicely.
