Comet NEOWISE over Seven Warriors Ridge. Here’s a nice view of the comet over the red sandstone ridge just north of my home, captured on July 18, 2020. The blue ion tail can easily be seen above the larger and brighter dust tail. The lingering monsoon clouds above the mountain eventually rose in the sky and put an end to our shooting this evening, but not before the comet gave us this beautiful performance over the Coconino National Forest.
