Chillin’ - Great Blue Heron above Lake Pleasant. As a late winter storm was moving out, this elegant creature was just hanging out (with a couple pals) on a rise above the shore of this popular lake northwest of Phoenix. Mr. Great Blue is probably contemplating the upcoming spring breeding season.
