Banshee.jpg

Banshee. This mesquite tree, on the grounds of La Misión San José de Tumacácori (now known as Tumacácori National Historical Park, north of Nogales, Arizona), could easily be mistaken for a ghoulish wraith protecting a haunted cemetery. But its actual role in life is a bit more genteel - it provides a bit of shade for the park’s flower garden.
