San-Francisco-de-Asís-Mission-Church-Infrared_by_Jim_Peterson.jpg
San Francisco de Asís Mission Church (Infrared). This adobe church was completed in 1815 after a construction interval of over 40 years, and is considered to be one of the best examples of New Mexico Spanish Colonial architecture. It is located in Ranchos de Taos, a small community just outside the city of Taos. It has been lovingly restored several times and remains an active parish of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. It has been a very popular subject for artists and photographers for over a century, and my infrared camera wanted to join the party with its own vision of the invisible.<br />
