The Fist, Bryce Canyon, Utah (Infrared). I don’t know if this imposing hoodoo has an official name – I haven’t been able to find one on the National Park map – but I’ve always called it the Fist. When illuminated by low, late afternoon sunlight and captured in infrared, it can stand out dramatically against its background.
