West Clear Creek Waterfall. OK, it’s not quite as imposing as Niagara, but it’s still charming in its own sweet, not-so-quiet way. This little pool with a tiny, captivating waterfall at its exit is about a mile into the West Clear Creek Wilderness Area, which in turn encompasses a riparian corridor in a rugged, rocky chasm cut into Arizona’s Mogollon Rim. With new foliage on the surrounding trees, plus a late afternoon sunbeam breaking through a cloudy sky, it made for an idyllic springtime scene.<br />
