Monsoon Storm over Jerome (Infrared). In July 2021, we finally, after three years, received some badly needed monsoon rains in Arizona. This very localized thunderhead popped up one afternoon over the Black Hills above the Verde Valley. When I captured this image, it was about to drop some much-needed precipitation on the old mining town of Jerome.
