Before The Ragged Storm. This sandstone tower lives near the bluffs across the San Juan River from my hometown (Farmington, New Mexico). In this early autumn scene, it was showing off its best sunset finery against an afternoon storm that was encroaching (but ultimately fizzled). This image is yet another one illustrating why I love so much this enchanted territory in which I grew up.
