Holy Family Catholic Church, Jerome (Infrared). Formed in 1896 and considered the second oldest congregation in Jerome, the historic Holy Family Catholic Church’s original building was destroyed (with many other structures) in the fire of 1898. It was rebuilt on the present site in 1899-1900 and remains in use to this day. It was known as “the miner’s church” because its original congregation consisted mainly of Hispanic and European immigrants. It probably wasn’t designed with infrared photography in mind, but my infrared camera assures me that it’s a very worthy subject.
